One of the reason events like JNF do not succeed is the lack of enthusiastic participation. Many of you have a very busy life that you barely make it to the convention. This is not a spectator sport. This is a participating event!
Here are Fifteen Commandments – not scientifically proven!
1. Complete your profile with picture. 2. Make a list of – Deal breakers for you - Are they rational? 3. Do a funeral and autopsy of your past affairs. http://vmehta.conforums3.com/index.cgi?board=Ask&action=display&num=1126135164 4. Figure out your wish list and want list. 5. Define your product – what attributes of yours will make you a great spouse? 6. Decide on your marketing strategy. How would you let others know your strong characteristics? 7. Do your homework. Check out the profiles of other participants and make a list of at least 20 that you would like to meet. 8. Communicate early. Send an email before the convention & let them know how you are impressed with them. Don't wait for speed dating! 9. Stay focused. While at JNF, do not waste your time with same group of people, get out of your comfort zone and meet new people. 10. Be generous in sending ‘smiles’ (We do not charge you any extra!) 11. Follow up: Before you leave Edison discuss the future communication plans with potential mates. 12. Infra red dating. Do not waste time talking about trivial matters. Check out infrared dating and try to find out things that do matter. http://vmehta.conforums3.com/index.cgi?board=Jaina2007&action=display&num=1179957358 13. Sneha Milan: Do not miss Sneha Milan. Adults have a way of looking beyond superficial traits. If you are rock solid from inside, this will improve your chances. On the other hand if there is not much beyond the façade it might help to avoid Sneha Milan! 14. Try to look beyond the labels. ABCD/FOB; American - Canadian or European Gujarati - Marwadi or Punjabi Girl that may be slightly older Girl that may be more educated someone who may be divorced Remember "Phirbhi Dil Hain Hiindustani!" 15. Help others find a match. If you find two people, who you think will be perfect for each other, do your duty. Random act of kindness will generate lots of "punya" for you!
